I'm leaving tonight for the lease, taking off work tomorrow and Saturday, and I am stoked.

Gonna try and sneak in to my stand before bed tonight and get out the hand corn so I don't have to do it in the morning.

Hogs would have it gone by day break at my place lol

GarGuy if you were going to put corn out at night, say between 10 and 11, would you advise to walk the corn to the area in question, or use a four wheeler? Basically I’m trying to decide which one would ultimately scare the deer less.

I was initially leaning this direction anyway so I think that’s what I’m going to do. I guess I just wanted to know if there was any advantage to doing it during the middle of the night.

If you just HAD to do it I’d say 4 wheeler they’re more likely to trot a ways out of distance knowing you came and went, then if you creeped on them in the dark they’d probably blow and not return, as
They wouldn’t know which way you went or if you were still there.

Good luck to all hunting tomorrow and Saturday. I’ll be mowing lanes and doing some other last minute work. Will be in the tree stand Sunday morning maybe Saturday evening depending on the wind.
