This is a really good blended Scotch, especially for the money. It's young, but is blended from Scotch from some of my favorite distilleries: Balvenie, Glenfiddich and Kininvie.

Yesterday's haul split between two of my good friends and I. Each bottle brought its own distinct flavors to the table and none disappointed.

I just picked up a bottle of Wellers 12 year old. The store only got 3 bottles, so he put one back for me. It is pretty nice (or sad) when your local liquor store owner knows you and even your wife by name!

LoL. I don't see a problem with that. Especially when it gets you a nice hard to find bottle.

Weller 12 is a very nice choice.

Just bought a bottle of Rebecca Creek. This is my first time trying it, and it did not disappoint. Super smooth and perfectly delicious straight over ice.

The Elmer came from a small town local shop where I know the owner. They said they only get one bottle a year she she got it for me when I asked about it. The Weller 12 my brother picked up for me in Huntsville and brought down to me.

Got a bottle of Baby Blue Texas whiskey from my brother. Made by Balcones. It is on the light end and has a character very similar to single malt scotch. Pretty good stuff, though I typically prefer the fuller smokier flavor of bourbon. Worth a try, check it out!

I tried Woodford. It just not appeal to me. Not sure if you will like the Bulleit if you like Woodford. Worth a try though.

I have a liquor store I frequent, they call me from time to time when stuff comes in I like, prices are generally very reasonable, Weller 12 is $28. Got a call they had a bottle of Pappy 15, wanted to know if I wanted it for $1500, I passed.

Whatís crazy is $70 is pretty much retail pricing these days. Itís good but I donít think $70 good but to each their own. EH Taylor and Elijah Craig are both much cheaper and just as good imo

Most people that like Four Roses like Bulleit, because Bulleit sourced it's bourbon from Four Roses. Bulleit recently opened their own distillery and they may have their own bourbon now, but historically, Bulleit has been made by Four Roses.

I love the 4 Roses Single Barrels, especially the store picks with their 5 variations of the E mash bill.

Going for $75 here now. Have to ask for it as it’s not kept on shelves and only 1 bottle per person. Guess we can thank these guys going and getting 4-5 bottles at time for that but at least they stopped that

I just can't pull the trigger on a bottle at that cost. Scotch, that's a different story.
