Not sure if we will have a need for it, but i do have a 3 way burner if we are doing anything else with the crawfish. Its good for 3 pans of hot oil for fish/fries/hushpuppies and stands about 30" or so

I saw one of those at Academy the other night. Thats a slick design.
Mine is only good for about 25 lbs at a time. Its a standard crawfish.

I'll double check to see it i have a different burner sitting ion the shop. I had 3-4 of them years ago.

It really depends on price and most years we wont know until the week of. I think last year we got them for around $2 a pound. I believe its always around $700 for the crawfish. We always meet at least that amount with everyones donations.

I don't know where y'all get your bugs, but Boyd's in Texas City is one of th cheapest place I've found, they had them for $1.67/lb. this week, and are usually cheaper than anywhere you find.

Last year we had Skye's cooker and my 3 pots. I used one for rolling and one for soaking. The other was for veggies. We cooked 10-11 sacks in no time. If We have 2 big cookers and my 2 pots we should be able to roll 5 sacks at once. That should be plenty. So if we end up with a decent crowd, 10 sacks again, that puts us rolling twice and a side pot for veggies. Done. I'll hit up Blake for seasoning as usual.

Oh.....and I bought some paddles. Waiting for Mary to release the new logo.

So as noted in our list, I'll bring my pots, Brandon has his and now Clint's. If Sleepy can bring they mega cooker I'll only bring one pot for veggies and the pre boil for the boudin balls team. Hopefully we can work the same deal as last year and get some crawfish stuffed boudin balls made for us again. They we pretty delish!!

It tuns out i found my good burner, so i'll add that to the list along with a bottle of propane.

The prep table i'm bringing is a 10ft stainless steel table i have in our outdoor kitchen/shop. So no need to worry about stains/hot pots/pans.
I will also bring a regular fold out plastic table for whatever else we may need it for.

It really all depends on the amount of crawfish we get. If we have a stellar year and get 10+ bags again, the 2 big cookers and a side pot should be plenty. Figuring an hour for the first batch from cold water fire up to dumping bugs and 35-40 per batch after that. We could have 2 batches each and do 10 sacks in roughly 2-2.5 hours. Thats assuming the cookers can roll 1.5-2 sacks each. My 80 qt pots are good for right at 50 lbs each, no potatoes corn sausage etc. Meaning packed with bugs.

If we can get sleepy's cooker......oh mylanta. That thing handles 2 sacks and comes to boil faster than anything I've ever seen. That would take a huge bulk of the cooking and would allow us to cook veggies in the smaller cookers, leaving the pots at home. But time will tell. We have time to polish up the cooking.

More importantly......SHIRTS!!!!

Default Tshirts

The Official Tshirt Post - Copy, Paste & Comment. This will keep everything in one place and avoid confusion. We will get to sizes and amounts once the design is established and then price quotes.

I'll start putting together the designs for team review. In the mean time, lets get going on the basics. Long or short sleeve and color.

I plan to do the same as in years passed. Front breast pocket logo and full back logo.

Firstly, lets take a pole on what we are looking for, just the shirt.

Color - Lets try something new, other than black.

Blue -
Red -
Yellow -
Green -
Purple -
Grey -
Pink -
Orange -
Maroon -

Style -

Short Sleeve -
Long Sleeve -

Again, this is just to get the ball rolling so copy paste and put a mark by your choice.
