Lotta engineering right there. I can see that took a lot of forethought before lay-n each dab to ensure structural integrity.
Lotta gap to fill between that side bar with the fire arrester on it and that top bar too!

Not a welder but have made several hundred or maybe over a 1000 welds building my barndo. So far have burnt 60lbs of 1/8" 7018 and 40 lbs of 1/8" 6011. The wife and I did this from scratch.

Nice work. We've been getting a lot of cable rails lately as well. Modern look is really popular right now.

My first project after buying my first machine. I painted it all black a few days later and apparently never took a picture of the finished project. It came out pretty clean and straight. I've got nothing on the rest of you.

Maybe 50% of my welds are covered up; beams, bar joists, and decking.
I haven't done that in over 20 years, though.

Its all good if you cant make it look good just put a grinder to those welds and dress them up a bit. Nothing wrong with that.

I hate taking sanding belts on and off constantly...so I picked up 4 of these cheap Harbor Freight 1x30 sanders. Grabbed a piece of 1/4", 3x3 angle iron and welded 4, 1/8", 2x2 angle iron posts to it. Can clamp it to any bench when you need a polishing/sanding/grinding station.
