Default axis roaring

This is my first time posting so forgive me if I mess this up. Here is a video I shot this summer while bow hunting for axis. He's calling for does. You might need to turn the sound up.

I had already shot one before I filmed this video. I let these go. My son was going to hunt the blind in a couple weeks. Of course you know how it goes. He had a couple nice ones there the first morning early and didn't shoot. Never saw the big boy again that weekend.

I love hearing them call for does.

Good video!! I've been trying to get one on video roaring but always miss the opportunity. I've began to notice that there are slight variations in the roars, for instance the buck in your video has a short roar IMO. That buck has some incredible cottles

You hunt them in the Summer? I didn't know you could hunt any deer during the Summer. Cool video thanks for sharing.

Axis, blackbuck, Sika, fallow deer, nilgai, and hogs you can hunt anytime. Even elk anytime in Texas. They are considered Exotic and are open season all the time.

Hi. I'm Brian. Your new best friend. You ever need help filling feeders, drinking beer, or just a shoulder to cry on. I'm here for ya. I did notice there were 2 big old axis bucks in your video. I'm such a good friend that you just tell me which one you're after and I'll leave him alone and only shoot the other one! That's just the kinda guy I am.

Pretty cool visual on hearing that noise. Thaks for posting.
I have heard it many times and always thought it was like a snort wheeze that whitetails use. A alarm snort. But it is not. Such different critters to hunt than whitetail.
