Momma took a egg and made hole at each end and would blow egg out tie a Perch hook to a fishing line tie off to egg box when they crawled out it would hang um

My mom would take eagle claw hooks and tie a line to the closest tree leaving a little slack. She would put the hook in the egg so it only left a small hole. The next morning we would have a snake on a string. Remington .22 took care of them.

I had a golf ball disappear yesterday out of the laying boxes. We usually get
around 4-6 eggs a day.

None the last two days.

It takes a bit for the golf ball to work, but it will. I hate em. Chicken snakes are the only non venomous snake I kill on sight. I kill every one I see, I know we need em, and plenty escape, but here they all die. Lost too many eggs, and too many chickens.

I never get a chance to really look and examine the snake to tell if it a good'un, or bad one....after the heads cut off, then I am like,,, ohhh it was just a milk snake.... too late

The first two were huge. Both were 5 footers, but FAT.


They wanted to go for a swim, so I took them to Mary's house..
