    Paint/Sealant for Stand

I have a few stands I built for Maverick blinds that have been out for about a year. They are built entirely with pressure treated wood and the legs are on concrete blocks - no wood contacts the ground.
Should these stands be painted or sealed with a preservative (like Thompson Water Sealant) periodically? If so what product would you recommend? Thanks.

I just paint mine with a good exterior paint. I put it on thick with a roller and it seems to work fine. I'm still hunting out of a blind I built 15 years ago.

Keep edges covered with paint, and you should be good

        Yep
I cover all corners with drip edge.

I went to sherwin Williams. They carry a product called DuckBack. It's a deck paint and sealer that you can get in just about any color. Water was and has not been an issue for me and it's been 3 years now. It's about $30 a gallon but well worth it.

It is made entirely of pressure treated wood - does it really need to be retreated every year or so?
