Offered me $2000 less than what I have been offered trading it in. Then hounded me via text for the rest of the day.

Well, that sounds absolutely terrible. My post was just from what I have heard on the radio and I have never had any dealings with them so please just take it for what it is.

That guy had a radio show a few years back (maybe still does) bragging how he pays the most. You would call in with your details and he would give you a price. I called in and was on the radio. I gave him details and he gave me a price. He asked "that's best deal, right!?" Well is wasn't, Carmax offered me $600 more. When I told him Carmen offered me X, they promptly dump the delay and hung up on me. *****nozzles

I ended up selling it to Texas Direct Auto for a couple thousand more than Carmax even. Try Texas Direct Auto, I have sold 2 cars to them and much easier than selling my self. They will give guy a range online and if you like that range, take it in and they will give you a firm price in 20 or so min. Then cut you a check right there if you accept.
Better than CL any day.

They do still have the radio show. Thats how I heard of them. Sounds like a crappy situation, but it appears it all worked out for you in the end.
