Anybody have one of these leaf shredders?

There are about 40 trees in our backyard - oaks and cedar elms - so I have a lot of leaves to deal with. I finally have a good stand of St Augustine going back there and I need get them off the grass. In the past I have managed with some combination of raking, blowing and mulching with the lawnmower. I have been looking online at homeowner-grade leaf shredders. This one gets pretty good reviews:

Anyone have experience with these? It's going to be labor intensive no matter how you do it but this thing mulches them into a trash can I can then dump in the compost pile.

I'd like to get a cyclone leaf rake, or DR makes one equivalent that pulls behind your lawn mower. There's also a manual push type.

i have a shredder chipper that i am looking to part with. let me fire it up first, before we go any further. it will handle 1 inch limbs with ease.
