What to do....Decision about when to leave to go hunting.

I am scheduled to go on a 6 day hunt around Encinal and we were originally supposed to leave this Saturday morning. My buddy that is going with me can't leave on Saturday because he forgot that his son, who is going with us, is in a wedding so we decided to on Monday morning. We got to talking and then we decided to leave Sunday morning and now the plans have changed again because my buddy’s dad asked him to take him hunting this weekend to their lease and he won't be able to leave until Monday morning now. The rut seem to be pretty good down South now and I'm anxious to get down there while the weather is still pretty cold and deer are rutting. I understand that family comes first and we all need to make exceptions and change our plans to accommodate them.

I'm trying to decide if I should head down there on Saturday by myself and just meet them down there on Monday. Just wondering what some of you would do. Thanks!

That's exactly what I was thinking but I do enjoy the drive down there and comradery with my buddy! We don't get to hang out a lot these days with work, family and obligations.
