25 yds from my stand, a deer I call Sloppy Joe. He is very narrow, probably 10" last season, maybe a little wider this season.

If you like an age estimation may be given

Looks just like one we have. He's probably 3.5 and TALL but I'm not sure he'll ever be wide enough.

We are pretty sure he is much older than that.

Everyone on here sees small racked and narrow and assumes young. That deer could probably tell you some stories about your grandpappy. Does MLD have to abide by AR?

So... MLD allows taken that one out regardless of AR? I always think these tall narrow bucks are breeding machines. With law keeping me from one I passed on was as tall and way heavier and older... made me sick.

This guy might have been talking about the deer on his lease that looks like yours.

BTW, those beams ARE super long! I think he's at least 5yo this year, and possibly older.

Yessir. For whatever reason the deer on this lease stay in excellent health and age very well. We had a 10pt taken last year that was at least 7-8 years old and was in excellent shape, fat and healthy.
