The head/neck is just so strange on that body. Everything from the shoulder back screams juvenile. Maybe it's just a bad picture? I like the name "Twigley Down Under".

My camera took that pic last year. Around early December I think. My initial thought was he was a real young deer but he's definitely interesting. I don't think we've seen him on camera yet this year.

There are a few mulies out there so he could be a hybrid.

No belly, no sway in his back, legs look like sticks and too long for his body.. burn me on the cross but I don't see an old deer here.

Not saying it isn't possible that he is an older deer but I would go with this comment.
