      THE LAKE CONROE DAM IS SECURE AND NO WHERE NEAR ANY PROBLEMS ACCORDING TO OFFICIALS IN PRESS CONFERENCE YESTERDAY. IF IT WAS I WOULD NOT HAVE DRIVEN ACROSS IT MONDAY AND TAKEN PHOTOS. THIS MORNING I HAVE HAD CLOSE TO 60 READERS WITH PEOPLE TELLING THEM THEY WERE GETTING INFORMATION ON THIS LAK

        No way. If it was going to breach it would have done it 24 hours ago when it was 6' above the MSL.

            Craziest/scariest thing about that is what would have happened to Kingwood and downstream had the Conroe dam not been there. Another 50,000cfs and all of Kingwood would have washed away.
