Default Colorado closures

Parts of Colorado NF have closed due to fire conditions.

Stage 3 restrictions are in place in San Juan NF and more closures to come this week.
Unless rains come with monsoon season hunting will not be allowed, along with any other activities.

Are they closing the entire San Juan National Forest?

Hopefully Bud will send a big plume of moisture up that way this weekend.

Not ideal for us who hunt there but really sucks for the families that live there. Praying for rain

Looks like the entire San Juan NF will be closed, more to come I'm betting.

I read they are supposed to get 1”-3” of rain by Sunday. I’m guessing that it would take a lot more than a couple inches of rain to reopen the San Juan.
