Some locals (Texas transplants) we met told us about it when we were fishing at Johnson lake for rainbows. Was great. There is a place in the strip center next door to it that has awesome shakes. Called the reading room I think.

I’m with you. If I did it again I would do two fly-out trips and drop a river trip for kings. Fly-out was the highlight of our trip although we Loved the halibut trips too. Been eating a ton of halibut tacos.

Amazing how many lbs of fillets you end up with. We had to get an extra trailer for the fish boxes.

Yesterday my boys took fly fishing lessons from Grandpa in preparation for a hike/fish trip today

This morning we took a hike to a lake up on an elevated plateau. It was mostly a hiking event that we carried fly fishing equipment lol
