About 2 months ago my 8 year old daughter was rushed to the hospital with stroke like symptoms. She had total paralysis on her right side. She was not able to use her right arm, right leg, smile, and her speech was so bad we could not understand a word she was saying. We had prayers coming from everywhere and our youth minister came and spent hours with her in ICU praying over her. She made a full recovery is a perfectly healthy soon to be third grader. She has grown up in the church and has learned all about the workings of Jesus but I don't think it really hit home until this event and she saw just how great God is and the miracles he works everyday. It was after the discharge from Cooks Childrens that she sat down with us and told us she was ready to give her life to the lord and become one of God's children. Yesterday was the big day. My wife and I were able to be by her side.
