No problem. Leave that fixed up 4-wheeler behind when you come and I'll print off a few. Tim doesn't need to know. I'll tell him Rodney stole them.

Instead of mailing MLD tags Texas now emails you them and you just print them off. I am told there is a certain type of heavy duty thick paper that is recommended but I don't know what it is. Has anyone printed theirs out and had good results? I just know regular paper isn't going to work.

I used paper that menu's are printed on but I want something better.

Random question, once all the requirements are submitted to TPW, how long does it take for them to issue the mld tags?

They are flying my new lease on the 18th to do the deer survey. Just wondering how long it takes the state to issue tags after that. Season opens a week and a half after the survey so I am thinking we may not have our tags by then.

The landowner handles all this so I am not involved with the process.

We have to have all our MLD surveys to the TPWD biologist by mid September although we provided about a week early this year. In the past it has taken about a week to 10 days to get the permits. We did have one year they ran a little late and provided a few permits without completing their review and the remaining once they finalized everything.

It has worked for me for 3 years. Once back to Final Destination it goes in the trash anyways

I use regular paper and ziplocks. I tried waterproof paper but I never have a ball point pen around and the others will smear.
