Default cleaning out your sinuses....

Hey guys... anyone ever done any home brew sinus cleanouts? What do they call those things.. Neti pots? Or something similar? I am having sinus issues and want to give it a whirl but would like some advising on what works and what doesn't.

Thanks

Neti pot or whatever it is called, works. Wife uses it pretty regular to combat allergies. If I have been out mowing/shredding I will use it too. Yes, it works.

NeilMed. Black top with opaque bottle. It's like a fire hose for your nose.

Yup, I live by these things during the summer. Especially after shredding a pasture on the tractor with all the dust.

Yep. I had a couple sinus surgeries to permanently open up and clear out my sinuses. The rinses work wonders for allergies and congestion. Nettie pot or just the squirt bottle with the saline mix. Itís a weird feeling, I do it in the shower as it doesnít make a mess in the sink.

Yep thatís the one I use, had to use it for after surgery care and stuck with it.

Youíd be shocked by whatís up in there.

Best advice is gently squeeze, youíll know when to stop.

My only complaint is that several hours later, I’ll have water come pouring out of my nose.
Make sure you use distilled water. The chemicals in tap water have literally killed people.

I used this one. Really weird feeling the first couple times you use it but after that it does work wonders.

Carolina Reaper and a Scorpion Pepper should do the trick.

I have done the neti pot and found it to be 100% effective..........after I picked myself off the ground and my eyes uncrossed I was clean as a whistle.

After 5 polyp surgeries 2 major sinus obliterations I was addicted to using an old fashioned water pick at maximum warp speed stuck as far in as I could take it with hot salty salty water. I was really addicted for about 10 years, every night and morning. I have been sinus flushing free for 15 years now.

Truth! DON'T USE TAP WATER!
Distilled only. Many cysts, parasites, and other bad things in tap water that are potentially deadly in your sinus tissues.

I have never used them, my dad used to until his Dr. recommended against it. If you just have allergy issues it is probably fine but the way he explained it was if you have any kind of sinus infection you are just spreading the infection further by using one.

Ive used them in the past. Havent in a while because I am out of the packets to mix in. When I first tried it after about my third or fourth rinse that week there was this marble sized green mass that was hard came out. I was blown away that it was in my head. Craziest thing ever. I had to show the wife and she refused to be in the same room as it and didnt get to see it.
