            Found this little guy just north of Cisco. Hopefully he was able to avoid the fire we just had out there.

                Have them on our place in Quanah, see quite a few. Caught one about 1" long last year. Cool little critters ....

                          Not just any horned lizard....A Texas Horned Lizard! Phyr...something cornuta. Beautiful critter. Caughtem as a kid and havent seen’em since.

                              Back in the 60's, horned toads were all over the place near Mountain Creek Lake. We used to go up the street to where Mountain View Junior College is when it was just empty land. Found them there too.
