    Form Analysis Por Favor

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGwNUyWz6GI"]Trad Form 1 - YouTube[/ame]

    I am trying the tradbow for the first time after many years of shooting compound. I did a ton of research before I ever pulled the string back and know that it will be a long process but want to make sure I'm starting out with the right form. I've been shooting this recurve for about 3 weeks and I'm greatly enjoying learning.

    Thanks!

    PS- I'm really fat right now. I will do something about that soon.

    First off don't worry about the fat. You've earned it! (just kidding!)

    The only couple of things I see is
    1) You have a dead release, i.e. no back tension. No worries. It'll come with time. I took me a year to make mine work and to be honest it just kind of happened one day.
    2) You have a stagger step in your draw right about where the "let off" would be on a compound. Again no worries.
    3) You're already shooting better than I am so take what I've posted with that in mind.

    Welcome to the addiction. Next year you'll be cutting down trees in the back yard to make your own bows.
