Prayers for my Mom, please

I just learned my mom has Squamous Cell Carcinoma skin cancer. She will be scheduled for surgery in 2 weeks. I've done some research, and it doesn't seem to be a big deal, but..., when it comes to my momma, well, I'm a little soft so I can't be ashamed of that... She's never had any major surgery, 69 years old, and is very active. Please pray she is healed, and the doctor has a steady hand.

Yessir you are a good son... We are specifically told to honor our mother and our father... Nothing soft about that!

Lord Jesus, we call upon Your mercy and grace to grant healing to this dear mother. Guide her care-givers to a right procedure and steady hand to effect Your healing. Guide them to remove this malignancy from her body and restore her health. Strengthen her and place her in the palm of Your hand. Give our brother comfort knowing that You are working in this to do Your will. Give her years Lord, years to be a witness for Your awesome power and glory. Make her a lasting witness to Your greatness and unending Love for us all. In the strong name of Jesus our Savior we ask and pray, Amen.
