I have spent many a hour in a deer blind hunting and this is one for the books:
3:30- I get dropped off at the blind, 4 doe run off
3:45-One doe walks out
3:55- That same one doe takes a 100gr NPR Thundercat to the chest.
Somewhere between 3:55-3:56-that ol' girl runs about 50 yards, looks back at what hit her and drops like a rock, never to move again. I was afraid my buddy might run her over since she was in the road! I have never seen a deer drop in sight from my arrow.
This is my 3rd bow whitetail harvest and my best shot. I'd like to thank the "straight up the leg and low" TBH thread, Buff anatomy images, and God for this tracking job. Arrow was right behind where I shot, bloody.
We then took advantage of the cold, windy weather....
God bless my buddy who took me. One sit this season, and I have backstraps!!!! He is an awesome guy. hope he comments. So thankful today folks! God bless!
