    Best time for shed hunting?

I'm curious when y'all typically see most of your bucks dropping their headgear in you area? I know a few will drop early, but overall when would you say all of the sheds have hit the ground where you hunt?

In Mason we tend to see most of them shed out by mid to late march

I have a buddy of mine here in Gonzales county pick up a pair that scored 176 last week. It depends on the condition of the deer. From now til March they will be shedding. Remember once they shred they start regrowing their antlers in 7 days so get your feed out so they can reach their full potential. Happy shed hunting find them before the rodents and coyotes do.

We will start during spring break. This year we are going to try not to go looking before then and we will do it by sections 3-5 guys in pattern.
