ACE Hardware vs Amazon

ACE always has what I need on the day I need it - without fail. Yes it costs a bit more for convenience. But if I know about a project ahead of time then I'll hit Amazon or the Depot.

If I don't need the tool/part immediately then Amazon all the way. I ordered a box of 5" lag bolts for 50% cheaper than any store, cant beat that.

I go to Ace often and I don't mind paying a little more somethings.

Agreed, it is better to go to a local store first for little things and amazon for the better deals on the larger things
