Anyone have any experience with waterlogged game cams? Mine got caught up in the flood that hit the lease with the recent rains. Good news is the batteries were dead so it was not running at the time. Not sure if it got water inside the housing but definitely water in the battery compartment. I have it in a bag of rice. Any ideas or predictions on saving it?

bag of rice is about the best you can do, clean it up. send a email to the manufacturers, explaining how it just stop working, and is there any way they can make it right. -
dont put new batteries in it and turn it on. Open the battery compartment and face of camera and stick it in a bunch of rice in a sealable bag for several days.Comment
