A good budget smoke that I really like is the Oliva Gold series. They are really smooth and taste great, I get them by the pack and those are my give aways when someone wants to come over to smoke with me. Definitely not giving a new smoker one of my cubans. I've had too many people want to try a cigar only to smoke a few puffs and not like it. I don't mind giving away a Cuban to someone who really smokes but not to someone just wanting to try it for the first time.

Padron Delicias hard to find.
Oliva G Maduro Special, this is my go-to short smoke, lots of flavor, but a 30-40 minute smoke. Very short. No need to age these guys...Much like the Fuente Short Story.
Fuente has a green label en Cedro, but I can't remember the name.

For those of you that use a tupperware container as your humidor, do you have a hydrometer in there as well, or would you trust a boveda pack to keep the RH correct?

That's what I do, I also put the tupidor in a cooler, call it a tuppicoolidor.

I like anything AJ Fernandez has his hand in. This is one of my go to sets. I have been able to get the set for $85 in the past. It MSRPís for $550 or so. The absolute best bang for my buck yet. Itís an awesome set. The Man Oí War Ruination and Diesel Wicked are my favorites. But I love them all. I try a lot of different cigars, but have found that I can get them anywhere from $2-$3 each by being patient on that website. Wife absolutely hates it Name: 7A44D322-4570-4932-A1A7-246A29306F48.jpg

As far as cheap cigars, I find it an absolute waste of my time. If I am patient I can even get some of my favorites in the $1.50 range. The last two cigars on the right in the picture above are $20 a stick. At $2.50 or so a stick with shipping your still smoking “cheap” cigars but getting a stick worth smoking.

Cigar.com has an intro set that might also fit your bill. 10 very nice cigars and a humidor for $70.

You guys post some cigar stands please. Thinking of making a few as a fun project and need some ideas. Want something particularly interesting for a co-worker who was very generous when I mentioned getting back into cigar smoking...

I really like the Acid cigar, the Kuba Kuba flavor. Pretty decent price for the quality and flavor. They're like 8 and some change at Specs Liquor. Give one a spin sometime.

No pics. Oliva Serie O Perfecto that was in the grab bag I was gifted. Paired with some garrison brothers and an ice cube. Nice smoke, my first in months. Has a nice bit of sweetness went well with the bourbon.

Hey guys, I am new to cigars. My brother brought me back a couple of Cubans from Mexico, he was at a beach resort down there and picked me up a few sticks. Found out they are fakes. Anyway, I am looking to get a sampler of CC's to add to my small but growing box. Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction?

Iím sure someone will be able to help you out here - online CC purchases can be difficult when youíre not really sure what you like yet. Hard to find samplers.

Iím sure youíll be looking for a larger humidor here pretty soon. Haha.

+1 for Fink's, they have three humidors around SA.

Club Humidor is another, they also have a few stores throughout SA.

I have never been, but I have heard good reviews for Redland Cigars.

Those of you that have had real Cubans before what did y’all think? I had one when I was up in Canada a few months ago and didn’t really think they were all that they are cracked up to be. Personally I think you can find better smokes in the states for a third of the price.

There are good and bad in all. Take a wife for instance, pick the wrong one and...well you know, but pick the right one and all is awesome.

Guess maybe I'll have this along with some Tomatin single malt this evening and turn on some Xmas music. Don't have these Debonairs very often at $15 a stick but they sure good with my Scotch. These are a good 1-1/2 hour smoke which should equal out to at least 3 healthy libations. I will sleep good tonight.

Ezra Zion Knife fight while the kiddo naps. Tasty but overpriced novelty IMHO. Did a split, got two @ $14 a piece. Way more than my usual spend for anything but an opus x so Iím being overly critical Iím sure.
