I'm not a snake expert and I don't know if is true, but an old rancher told me that a bite from a rattle snake that is just out of hibernation is a lot more dangerous. Prayers for your friends.

Losing the lab probably like loosing a family member and even yet did it protecting his owners. Yep he took the most venom probably saved his masters life. Prayers to all sad situation and hope all will be fine

Small world.. one of my employees is friends with him and sent me the pic taken right before the bite... it really is one of the craziest pics I have ever seen. I wouldn't believe it if it wasn't confirmed here
