Lots of beach time so far.
My girls all look like little vanilla beans.

Grilled out tonight and my son helped.

Excursions tomorrow!!!!

It is worth the extra 2 hrs drive.
Water is amazing.

2 favorite eats on the island are Padre Island Brewing and Cap’n Roy’s. Don’t let Roy’s building fool you, the food is legit

Food at the Brewery is good but every dang time I am in there it is hot as hades.

Ate lunch at pier 19....cool place.
Great seafood.

Went on a dolphin/eco tour right next door.
They drop a net and let you touch the fish,etc. Saw a butterfly ray, a cigar fish, and a pin fish. Lots of dolphins.

Big line in the bay where the freshwater from the Valley is pouring into the ba
Same in the gulf where the rio grande dumps out.

Goes from chocolate milk to emerald green.

Definitely a good idea to eat a light lunch before getting on a big boat and rolling out into the jetties with 6-8’ swells. Bout another 5 min out there and I was gonna go chummin.

Going to check out the turtles manana.

Turtle rescue was awesome.
Beach was amazing.

Breakfast at yummie’s bistro...crazy good.

Headed home and we are already looking forward to coming back.
