I'm curious if 2 currently popular calibers will stand the test of time. I'm referring to the 6.5 Creedmoor and the 10 mm auto. I will stay with the old tried and true. 223,243,270,308 30.06 and 300 win. 44 mag and 45acp.

10MM has been out over 30 years and more manufacturers seem to be offering guns in 10MM.

6.5CM we wi have to wait and see. There are a ton of 6.5 options on the market now.

There has been a lot calibers come and go, some of the classics continue to hang around like the 22 Hornet.
Love me some 7x57. Dad and I have 3 rifles chambered in it

There is a lot of obscure rounds mentioned in this thread. Some that I’ve never heard of.

I’m shocked that nobody has brought up any of the Lazzeroni offerings. They were big news a few years back. Super fast rounds. Now, I seldom even see them mentioned.

I figured Paul might have mentioned them since he has one. I remember reading an article about them when I was maybe 12 or so. Didn't really know anything about guns at that point but the author made it sound like it was practically a heat seeking missile. The Lazz rounds are still intriguing. But then if you're taking it that far you start looking at Allen mags...

                The Bren Ten.

Here is a caliber you never even hear much of anymore. 17mach2. Basically it was a 22lr necked down to a 17cal. Better quality bullet than a 22lr, like a 22 mag. Never took off.

You can get help for your phobia.

Too many firearms companies and ammo companies doing the 6.5 Creedmoor these days and why not? It's a great caliber.

Don't be jealous; go get one.
