To me, the best 2 options are:

      1. Hire it out

      2. Buy the dozer, like the one above for 12k, do the work at your own pace, then sell it when you are done.

I’ve rented some really silly equipment in the last few years that worked out but I had no business operating. Most of it Long/High Reach Stuff. You’d be suprised what you can rent with enough insurance.

All that said, that thing outlaw38 posted is amazing. I want one.

I also passed a Dude on the side of 35 in dallas yesterday absolutely doing work with brush hog attached to a mid size bobcat. I was impressed.

What’s the cost of mulching v dozing senderos? Will the much keep successionary plants from growing in quickly?

I just rented a Case 750 last week for my place in Rocksprings. It was $1950 for 7 days, that included delivery. I’m not affiliated with a company, I just rented as an individual. I operated it myself, and I know I’m slower than a professional, but I knocked down a lot of cedar. Now I have a lot of brush piles to burn.

                          Clearing

I just bought this one and brought it to property this weekend. Worked it all day yesterday with just the bucket uprooting and piling up cedars. I have a grapple that should be here this week and looking at a mulching attachment.

If the Boston can operate it, anybody can!
