Get you one of those cheap all in one motion feeder lights. Or a few solar garden spotlights.

Theres always next time. I have a group coming in regular in daylight. Hoping to cruise down sometime soon.

Closest I got to a dead pig this week. Didnít think it was live hunt worthy.

Been working too many odd hours (4 AM-4PM). Big boy is coming in pretty regular around 10:15 PM this week, but we're supposed to get storms today. He usually changes his pattern after a rain. Got a larger boar and sow that come through very unpredictable usually between 3 & 4 AM. Was thinking about giving it a shot tomorrow night, but the wind is supposed to be all wrong.

Choices!
Big boy and big sow showed up together last night around 8:30. Who do I shoot? I've been wanting big boy for several months now, but big sow looks prego! Forecast still calling for storms and I've been awake since 3 something this morning, but I'm thinking about giving it a shot tonight. Wind is a solid alright.

Yes sir, most of the east Texas pigs I've encountered are not this big. I have one that was 275# under my belt, but that was a fluke!

We'll, I did fall asleep pretty quick in the stand last night. Woke up around 10:30 to thunder, lightning, and pretty heavy rain. Gathered up my gear and went to the house.

I had a few come through this morning. This sounder passes through about twice a month, and usually around 2 or 3 in the morning.

I've got the same problem.I have some pigs come in to my feeders once every couple of weeks and usually in the middle of the night. The crops are starting to grow and everything us getting green so I think the hogs will become more regular soon though.

Last time I hunted, I stuck one and had a good blood trail. I posted a picture in this thread of the decent amount. But after that it got less and less, and dried up. Never found the arrow either. I did hit a little high, but talk about discouraging. Went back the next day in the daylight. Lost the trail at the same point. Just stopped bleeding.

Good luck! Pigs have been pretty regular the past few days between 9 and 11. I was thinking about trying it out tonight, but I'm waiting to find out what time I have to work in the morning. Rain forecasted all day tomorrow.
