Noticed the all evening full moon last night... Sleeping in late isn't so bad... get in a noonday sit instead.

We got a good rain Wednesday night and now that the ground is wet the deer sign in here is good. But it's gotta be the full moon and heat that's keeping me from seeing them. I've got a little hand corn out and 2 trails intersect right here in front of this blind. If I don't see anything this evening I'm gonna hunt mid day tomorrow. At this point it sure can't hurt.

Almost made it happen today. Had a lone doe come in at about 12 yards. Before I could draw she turned with her butt facing me and started feeding away. The next time she turned broadside was at about 25, and that's just to far for me so I watched her go. And the moon is BRIGHT again tonight, so I may try to get a mid day sit in tomorrow.
