We ended up staying on the place last minute. We figured with all the work we put in last year an extra thousand dollars a piece isnt so bad when you consider not having to move and being able to see how the deer jump etc....we really didnt see any blackbuck though but we have seen them on rafter w side a couple times and have seen a few axis and fallow on camera

Ready to see what 2018 has in store for us. The axis my wife shot is going to be hard to top. It officially knocked off the leader of the LSBA record books by 1/8th".

We have some bruisers in velvet now. Can't wait to see what the turn into in the coming months.

Most likely getting on a lease about 8 miles south of Sonora this season. Wondering if anyone uses cell cameras in that area. I have Verizon for my personal cell and it’s spotty at best unless on a ridge. Wondering if AT&T cameras are good for the area. I would love to be able to see the pics as they come in being I live in SE Tex.

I’ve not decided on if it’s worth it or not. None of the guys already on the lease run one so I may follow their lead until it’s known for sure.

I use an app called FarmLogs where you can map you area up to 900 acres I believe. It showed to have been 1” south of town where I’m at. Pretty accurate from my take. I use it to confirm what get on a rain gauge at my house. Pretty helpful to know what your area is getting.

I can't get the birds to come onto my place. They are all around me, and I have feeders out, but they are not cooperating. Hopefully they will show up soon.
