    What is it?

I’m 99% sure my dog just sneezed this out. What is it?

That should make him feel better. Made my eyes water just thinking about it.

Definitely the pupae stage of some insect. Put it in a jar and see what comes out.

That was my first thought but it’s not wiggling around like every other bot fly larvae I’ve seen in deer. It seems to be in a shell of some sort?

She’s been sneezing and gagging a lot the last two weeks. To be fair, she had a traumatic injury to her eye and frontal sinus area back in November so we all, including the vets, assumed the sneezing was related to the previous injury.
She just had sneeze attack, I turned around and saw that wet thing lying on the ground.
I immediately thought fly larvae but doesn’t look like ones I’ve seen in deer.

Might be a grub worm pupae (aka June Bug)

Definitely the pupae stage of some insect. Take a photo and see if your Vets office can identify it.

Bottle it and take it to the vet.

I've seen that larva somewhere before. But can't remember it's name!

Must be GOF related.....The remembering part!
