I have always heard how good axis meat is, y’all have me wondering about sika.
Someone said it is “richer”, does that mean more gamey? Best wild meat I have ever had was elk, i wish I could eat it all the time.

100% axis on the left.. looks healthy! The sika in the first pics look fat and delish! I'm also in Edwards and my dad has seen a trophy level sika on our place but it took off before he could get a shot.. it's the only one we've seen in 9 years

yep it is- as said earlier don't let hang with the hide on. better than axis on the table. meat is almost purple. very rich not gamey
