The blind worked great this weekend conceptually....I just didn't see any **** deer.

I got in it last night about 11 and it was 31 degrees inside and everything was already covered in frost. The heater warmed it up to 60 in less than 15 minutes. I set the thermostat on the heater really low and it was steady at 64 this morning at daylight. I think it was about 26 outside.

Timely you should bring this up. For all the time spent and critters seen from the boat trailer, not a shot was fired until a couple months ago when my son Brady shot his first hog from it.


Then weekend before last, his 2nd.


Then Saturday night, his first buck! The 5 or 6 minutes after we watched that dude pile up in sight....I will never forget! I hope he never does.
