When I moved from the Houston area to Tyler I got into a conversation with some of the local guys I was friends with. They told me East Texas was from Lufkin to the north. I asked them what part of Texas Livingston (Polk County) was in. The told me that was South Texas. I then asked them where Bracketville was and they also said South Texas. All I could do was laugh.
