A real shame you thought the dogs were inside when you went to work and left the gate open...

Will dogs pee and poop on the turf, or likely use the mulch beds next to it?

The dogs may be lead deficient. That normally causes this. I have 2 that are lead deficient. Unfortunately fixing that will bring up a lawyer problem.

I got the solution. Sell your house and buy a house on the beach, then post more pictures.

A bad*** rednecky above ground one! Probably a ton cheaper than artificial grass.

The muts always win. Remember that lol. As for the yard, I don't think there is a good solution. The turf will be hot and stink from the pizz and poop. Best thing you can do is limit their time outside so they don't destroy the yard. That or fence off a corner for them to use and take care of the rest to your liking. Look on the bright side, those dogs won't be around but for a few more years. Then you can have your yard back.

ok my experience with artificial turf. make sure you get the type that drains and numero uno won't be a problem. as others have said, well unless its runny or something numero dos isn't bad on turf. plus side, no bugs, no watering, no chemicals no fertilizer, some are fall rated for 6 feet, you can drive on it if its installed correctly, heck the military has landed helicopters on it. down side, can be expensive to install. in San Angelo, we charge $8-12 a square foot installed may be more in dallas, it is hot as the underside of satans a** the morning after some bad tacos, and in 12-15 years it will have faded to a certain degree and need to be replaced. hope that helps
