I’ve seen a couple and to shoot them never crossed my mind. I guess the only way I would shoot one is if I saw it around my house where the grandkids play.

Yep, absolutely. It is at the top of my bucket list of animals that I want to take.

1). I'd like to have one with a full body mount for the house.

2). I wear black and walk slowly to my blind....much like the angus calves that roam our place. With my size I'd be easy pickings.. And I don't want to be skeert..

I would if it was big enough to full body mount!

I would shoot on sight for 2 reasons, #1 for the awesome trophy. #2 to keep their #s down, they need to be kept in check. People in California said they like to see them until they started attacking joggers, and people on bicycles. They definitely need to fear humans.

                    Yes.
It's interesting to me the difference in how people (including me) seem to feel about animals that are rare, less seen, exotic, whatever. Even among non-hunters that seem OK with deer hunting, the idea of shooting a bear or God forbid a giraffe or elephant is horrible.
I would never shoot an elephant. Not exactly sure why-- I've loved them since I was a kid? It would be a trophy-only thing and I'm a meat hunter? Their intelligence? Who knows?
I'm not much interested in shooting a tiger either, but knowing how common mountain lions are and that I would eat it, I'd have no problem shooting a Texas cat.

On my lease, no, I would just watch it and take photos if I could.

On my land where my kids play and are very small, yes.

Wouldn't think twice! Not sure where the logic would come from to not shoot it from a game management standpoint?
