    Very cool!

I often see Vietnam Vets around town and the other day I could help but to thing about how old these guys are getting.

        Mr. Harry is doing well

I visited with him about 30 minutes ago at the Koffee Kup in Hico. Paid for his lunch and told him I was proud to meet him. A very fine gentleman for sure

I love it! I'd make the drive just to visit with him.

He has hearing aids in both ears and apologized to me "for being hard of hearing"! Make the drive. It will be well worth your time. The Koffee Kup staff treated him like family.

Thanks for posting, great story. I drive through Hico several times a year, I'll have to stop in and have some pie and look for Harry. Thank your son for his service.

Tell your son thanks for his service and I sent an extra prayer up for his safety and a safe return home.
As for Harry and your experience I don't think there are any words to describe a moment like that!! Its amazing how people have evolved from Harrys generation to the generation we have amongst us today! If this old man could only talk some sense and knowledge into Americans it would benefit us all!! May God Bless you Mr. Harry!

Wow, that makes everyones day. After just watching Hacksaw Ridge that generation is truly amazing.
