It is if you practice a lot at that distance and further. There was absolutely no wind when it happened, so the conditions were good. I would have rather had a 20 yard shot, but hunting out west, you have to be prepared to shoot at longer distances.

I think the taxidermist injects it with a preservative (formaldehyde?). I left it at the taxidermist in Chama.

Awesome and congrats on the shot. Before I went this year I was shooting out to 60. Next time I go I will be stretching that out some more. You never know.
