Hard to beat a $10 straw hat. I've worn out a number of them over the years. One I have now has lasted several years. But it's pretty raggedy . Doubles as a yard-work hat too, when on the mower. I've got to help keep the sun off my face/head. Already had the "C" cut out and removed a couple times.
Been tearing them up at Granger, 15 to 20 each time in shallow water like Chief said, even found one of his spots Going back out this evening to try get some more before this rain comes. Last time we were in them the rain messed up our spot, took a few days to find them again.
Chief I sent you a PM, call me if your heading out tonight.
Had someone in one of my spots today Luckily I think it's one of those Texas Water snakes Ended up going to another place I think I ended up with a dozen.
To you bank fisherman's, watch out for those snakes! this one must of heard me coming and he did not look happy
That looks more like a cottonmouth! We have a ton of watersnakes though! Looking at the shape of his head it looks like a viper....could be the angle though!
