I think you got it all drained and clean. you will start healing up now. Unless...you are a Dutch boy.

So far I think I would go the beechnut spit route. Seems to work everytime

Highly doubtful it is staph. If it is a bacterial infection it will be mrsa. Go get some bactraband topical . If it doesn't work you will need some clyndimycin pills. That is if it is mrsa. Doesn't look like it to me though but you have been doing some digging in it. Treat it like it is infectious though. Keep it clean and covered and wash your hands a lot. Use anti bacterial body wash in the shower.

Put some Watkins Salve on it, it'll draw out whatever is in it and you'll be good in a few days.

Mine too. Probably irritated it a bit and made it sore poking around in there. I bet it heals up pretty quick. Based on the pic, it looks like you're on the backside of it.

Granny would soak in kerosene then wrap a rag around it.

I had a sore like that on my back one time. it started hurting so bad I could not sit stand or lay down without pain. went to the doc and found I had flesh eating bacteria. he said in two or three days I would have died he got me some high power meds and a week later I was all well
