One question: The ingredients list shown above was used to prepare how many ribs?
This was used to prepare 5 short ribs but it easily could of done 8 or more.

Looks great. I just got a pressure cooker a few weeks ago and am constantly looking for new recipes. I will definitely try this one.

The rule of thumb (for me anyway) is don't use a wine you wouldn't drink. Now i'm not saying use a nice bottle but use something that is ok. I prefer to use a lower priced Cab in the 8-10$ range.

Love the meal and appreciate the simple ingredient list. Is there much difference in taste by using a crockpot verses a pressure cooker. Thanks for posting the recipe.

From the back of the 3 Minute Brand grits bag (quick grits, but not instant):

Bring 1 cup plus 3 oz chicken broth and one cup of milk to just short of boiling.

Stir in 1/2 cup of grits, not instant, and one teaspoon of salt.

Bring it up to a boil, then cover the pot and reduce heat to low. Stir a few times.

Cook 5 minutes to thicken. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese if you want.

Great recipe. I like the wine addition. I was making a more complex reduction. I bet the wine tastes better and is a lot easier!
I use my Instant Pot and seer and cook in one pot.

The difference between the two is time and cooking process. The pressure cooker allows you to do the same thing a crockpot can in about 1-2hrs. It also cooks under high pressure which is why it only takes a short time vs several hours in a crockpot.
