I called at 9:30 last night. I was on hold for around 25 minutes. I've only been with Direct TV for 5 months. The lady I talked to said I'm already getting the $50 off discount. The low price and NFL Ticket for 12 months was the selling point for my to go with Direct TV in the first place. So for 24 months, I was going to pay $78/mth. Since the call, I will be getting an additional $20/mth off for the next 12 months.

I've been with them since late 90s. I call yearly and get a discount. My $40 discount was due to expire in Feb. He added it back and I will get an additional $40 off for the next two months. Bill should be about $18 during that time. Not as great as some, but discounts are discounts! Thanks OP!
