    Permanent Spray Paint

Recently acquired a used kayak (was in my neighborhoods bulk trash) I have painted it just wanted to know if there is a way to make it permanent. can i use flame or heat gun to bake it into the kayak?

I washed sanded, wiped down with acetone, and rinsed again but paint still comes off somewhat.

    Thanks

You need to use an adhesion promoter before paining.

Krylon Fusion for Plastics is a spray paint made to stick on plastic. Used it to spray paint son's football helmet a few years back (when 6th grade Pop Warner team changed colors and I didn't want to buy a new $125 helmet). Helmet had scuffs of other colors, but none came off of his all season.
