My dad's big game rifle (which actually belongs to my deceased grandfather) is a 7mm Shooting Times Westerner. Don't see many of them anymore and there are only a few ammunition companies still offering it, his regular deer rifle is a .264 Win Mag, that cartridge has pretty much gone the way of the dodo too and don't know why, everyone wants a 6.5 caliber but forget about the ol' "bean field" cartridge.
