      1-yellow squash.
      1-zucchini squash
      1-large tomato
      1/2 head of cabbage
      1-medium onion
      2 cups green chile.
      3 cloves garlic
      2 quarts chicken broth.
      1 pound ground chuck
      2T lard

In a cast Dutch oven heat lard.
      Add onion and garlic.
      Brown ground chuck.
      Drain and sit aside.

      Chop all veggies.
Add all veggies to dutch oven.
      Add 2 quarts of broth.
      Bring to simmer.
Add chuck, onion and garlic mix to dutch oven.
      Bring back to simmer.
Turn heat to low for 45 minutes.
Salt & pepper to your taste.
      Enjoy.

I like my chile between warm-hot.
You can add shredded cheese or crema to top if you like.

        Anyone on a Ketogenic Diet?

Went to grill last evening and they have an all wild game menu. And of course a tremendous beer and wine list.
I did consume two cold pints.
I had the elk hot link with a small salad.
        Did not eat the bread.

Where is this place? It sounds like a great way to get my wife to try several different game meats.

Did not feel like cooking much this eve. Walked up to the market and grabbed some fresh chorizo.
            Quick and easy.
            Chorizo, egg, queso and salsa.

Need some help with something: I saw an idea somewhere for bacon, sausage, and cheese bombs somewhere, but don’t remember where and can’t remember how it was done. I want to say the cheese was cut in squares, put in a ball of sausage, wrapped in bacon then cooked, but I forget how long. Anyone seen something similar?

Similar. Could just add bacon if you wanted.

I haven’t read all 17 pages on this thread, and am only beginning to wade through the other online info. In a lot of ways this sounds like a good fit for me, but one burning question that I haven’t seen an answer to yet is can I have coffe on this?

ABSOLUTELY, Keto coffee aka Bulletproof coffee is coffee with butter, mct oil, coconut oil and heavy whipping cream. You can add all or a choice of your choosing or just good ole black coffee. Black coffee is good for a fast as it does not produce a need for insulin.

Well, I’m finally back in ketosis. After a holiday break, I started back on Keto on Monday. Confirmed ketosis this afternoon when I got home from work.

I thought I would be out once I had two pints of IPA last Saturday eve. Never did go out.

Nice... I don’t cheat on carbs for at least a few weeks after getting back on Keto. I’ll probably splurge middle of February for my birthday.
