No, I believe you can buy the APH at the same time.

Ok thanks for the info. I've never bought one before, but plan to hunt some WMA's due to no lease this year.

Buy it at the TP&W office's or you'll have to wait for them to mail you the book.

Doesn't matter, the book is online in PDF.

I always buy at the same time and they print it on your normal license, if you don't buy at the same time you'll end up with two full licenses to carry around.
