2017 First Shot

Ok, trying to bring this back to being a thing. (Correct me on the rules if I am mistaken.)

Here are the rules as I understand them:

A target is chosen and a range is specified. All targets are to be printed on 8.5" x 11" paper. You shoot your first arrow at the specified range and post a picture of it. All results are to be turned in by Sunday at 6:00 PM. A winner is determined by who's arrow is closest to the target. Taking two pictures helps; one picture of just the arrow sticking out of the target and the second picture with a tape measure showing the distance from your arrow to the target. The winner of each week gets to choose the target and range for the next week.

If you want to do it with traditional gear, that would be awesome. But I'm going to shoot it with my wheel bow. The only traditional type of bow I have is my son's little kid bow, and I can't shoot that straight to save my life.

Getting settled into my new house and I now have a backyard that will go up to 25 or 30 yards. Once I get my target set up, im in!

If you have a gate to the front of your house and stand in the street, you might be able to reach out to 50yds? [emoji6]
